Each of the editions of this ranking have emphasised the ESADE MBA Programme as one of the best in the world. In addition, this year ESADE has become the highest rated Spanish business school ever to appear in this international ranking, which includes European and American schools.
According to Carlos Losada, the Director General of ESADE, the WSJ ranking "reflects the international recognition of a Spanish business school that seeks highly competent people, yet at the same time promotes the human aspect of professionals and executives".
The ranking was based on the responses of companies that recruited MBA graduates and can therefore be considered an accurate reflection of opinions in the marketplace. This year's edition took into account the responses of 4,125 recruiters¿that is, the companies or employers that ultimately hire MBA graduates as executives. The newspaper analysed these opinions and drew up a list of the top 24 international business schools, which includes representatives of Europe, North America and Central America
For the third year running, ESADE placed among the world's top three business schools in this ranking. This achievement proves that the international business community recognises the values and skills that characterise ESADE graduates. The ranking was based on three parameters: the companies' overall satisfaction with the graduates, the schools' ability to attract international recruiters and each company's willingness to hire more graduates from a given school.
International recognition of ESADE's values
The WSJ placed special emphasis on the international focus of ESADE, which has students from over 30 different countries and collaboration agreements with over 100 business schools around the world. ESADE has also formed a strategic alliance with Babson College in the United States and HEC in France.
Today's edition of the WSJ features extensive information about ESADE. The newspaper highlights the Spanish school's social commitment and the focus on corporate social responsibility found in its MBA programmes
