Biografia
Dimo Ringov és professor adjunt del Departament de Política d'Empresa d'ESADE.
Abans de passar a formar part d'aquesta institució, va dur a terme un doctorat en el Departament d'Estratègia d'INSEAD França i Singapur. També té un MBA per la Purdue University Estats Units i un màster en Management per INSEAD França.
La seva línia de recerca actual explora com afecten els resultats del rendiment de l'empresa les propietats del disseny organitzatiu, basant-se en elements dels enfocaments de la teoria evolucionista i conductual sobre l'estratègia i l'organització. La seva recerca recent examina si la replicació exacta o una adaptació local del model de negoci d'una organització de múltiples unitats més gran milloren el rendiment de les unitats individuals. En altres treballs investiga quin tipus de processos -rutines de canvi organitzatiu o cognició i judici de la gestió- són la font principal per a un rendiment de l'empresa en mercats dinàmics més gran. En altres recerques en curs, explora com l'estructura organitzativa i el procés de decisió poden ajudar a mitigar l'impacte dels biaixos del comportament individual sobre les decisions de l'organització en el sector dels fons d'inversió.
Les recerques de Dimo Ringov s'han publicat a Organization Science de propera aparició, a MIT Sloan Management Review, a Corporate Governance i a Proceedings de l'Academy of Management. Ha obtingut diversos reconeixements per les seves recerques, entre els quals destaquen les nominacions als premis Booz Allen Hamilton i Best Conference Paper Award, en les edicions de 2006 i 2009 de les conferències de la Strategic Management Society, i la distinció Best Paper Proceedings Award de la trobada anual de l'Academy of Management, el 2007. Dimo és examinador ad hoc d'Organization Science, de Research Policy, de European Management Review i de l'Academy of Management divisió de Política i Estratègia d'Empresa. És membre de l'Academy of Management, de la Strategic Management Society i d'INFORMS.
