Biografía
La profesora Namrata Goyal realizó una beca posdoctoral en la Columbia Business School tras doctorarse en Psicología Social por la New School for Research de Nueva York. Licenciada cum laude en Psicología y Estudios de la Comunicación por la York University de Toronto.
Sus intereses investigadores se centran en tres ámbitos: normas sociales, cultura y toma de decisiones y juicios. En concreto, investiga de qué modo las normas sociales configuran las memorias, las consecuencias positivas y negativas de romper las normas sociales y cómo afectan las creencias en el karma en las conductas antisociales p. ej., la venganza y prosocial p. ej., la ayuda.
Sus investigaciones se han publicado en numerosas revistas académicas, como el Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Perspectives in Psychological Science, el Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, Developmental Psychology y la Developmental Review, y se han presentado en medios tan populares como la BBC.
