Biography
Dr. Rita Rueff Lopes is a researcher and professor in Organizational Behavior at ESADE Business School, where she has also contributed with other roles including the general coordination of the Master’s and BBA Final Research Projects.
She holds a European PhD in Management, with a specialization in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior, from ISCTE–Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and the University of Barcelona. She also completed an MA in Human Resources Management from the University of Bolton UK and a BA in Psychology from ISCTE.
Her research focuses on emotions, well-being and human decisions at work, integrating approaches from social and organizational psychology. Her work combines qualitative, quantitative and nonlinear analytical methods, including artificial neural networks, diary studies and psychophysiological measures.
Dr. Rueff Lopes has authored numerous articles in leading academic journals such as European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Happiness Studies, Personnel Review, Current Psychology, and Applied Psychology: Health and Well-being. She has presented her research at major international conferences and collaborates in national and EU-funded projects on emotional and motivational processes at work.
In addition to her academic activities, she has contributed to social impact initiatives such as Refugees Aid Barcelona.
