Biografia
Les seves àrees d'interès són les aplicacions del raonament qualitatiu i del raonament fuzzy a la gestió d'empreses, especialment a les finances, com també l'estudi dels aspectes matemàtics del càlcul qualitatiu en models d'ordres de magnitud, i ha participat en nombrosos congressos i ha publicat diversos articles relacionats amb aquestes àrees. És membre dels grups de recerca GREC Grup de Recerca en Enginyeria del Coneixement i ARCA Automatización del Razonamiento Cualitativo y Aplicaciones, des de 1996 i 1999, respectivament. Actualment participa en un projecte finançat pel Ministeri de Ciència i Tecnologia MERITO per desenvolupar tècniques de softcomputing aplicades al mesurament del risc de crèdit.
Ha estat directora associada del Programa de Doctorat d'ESADE des de 1995 fins a 2004 i ha representat aquest programa davant l'Assemblea Anual de la European Doctoral Programmes Association in Management and Business Administration EDAMBA des de 1996, com també ha participat en els PhD Supervisors Workshops que organitza.
Fins a 1989, any en què es va incorporar a ESADE, va impartir docència i va fer la tesi doctoral sobre equacions i inequacions funcionals al Departament de Matemàtiques de l'Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona, de la UPC.
