Forte Arcos, Santiago

Santiago Forte holds an undergraduate degree and PhD in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He specialises in structural and non-parametric credit risk models. He has served as a Research Fellow at RiskLab Toronto Canada, the University of Tiburg's CentER Netherlands, the Bank of Spain and Copenhagen Business School Denmark. He has also published numerous research articles in specialised journals, including European Financial Management, Finance Research Letters, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance and Quantitative Finance. Prior to joining ESADE definitively in September 2004 and serving as Academic Director for the MSc in Finance from 2014 to 2016, he taught at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in the latter's Department of Economics and Department of Business Administration.
