Biography
Jonas De keersmaecker is a Postdoctoral researcher in the department of People Management
and Organization.
Before joining Esade Business School, Jonas completed his PhD in Psychology at the
Department of Developmental, Personality and Social Psychology of Ghent University.
During his PhD, he did a research stay at the University of Michigan. His research
falls into two research programs:
1)Judgment and Decision Making: This line of research focuses on what makes people
believe whether information is true or false, and how false beliefs can be adjusted.
2)Political Psychology: This area of research investigates the role of reasoning in
political and intergroup attitudes.
Jonas' work has been published in leading academic journals, including Intelligence,
Emotion, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and Social Psychological and
Personality Science. His research has been covered by several media, including Forbes
and Scientific American.
