MEKBiz

Funded by the European Commission and hosted by Esade business school, MEKBiz (Mainstreaming EU Knowledge in Business Studies and Strategy) was a one-year project that aimed to promote discussion, research, and teaching on EU issues.

The project, led by EsadeGeo, ran from September 2014 to October 2015 as part of the European Commission's Jean Monnet Program within Erasmus+. After completion, MEKBiz was chosen as a success story and an example of best practices by DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture.

MEKBiz brought together twenty international experts focusing on four of EsadeGeo’s specific specializations (Global Governance, Global Political Risk, Global Economy, and EU-China Business Relations) to reflect and develop innovative research about the EU context and strategies for European businesses given their position in the Union and as players in a globalizing world.
