In order to improve knowledge on employment relations issues from both a European and a comparative perspective, the First Pan-European Industrial Relations Forum on Workclimate will be held on the 10th and 11th of November 2005, in Barcelona Spain.
The Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs & Equal Opportunities of the European Commission is financing this Conference to be able to contrast how European workers compare their employment conditions in the companies where they work, comparing and analyzing 14 member countries.
The First Pan-European Industrial Relations Forum on Workclimate will be a platform for exchanging opinions and experiences between some of the principal social agents and heads of European companies in the field of industrial relations. Its purpose is to explore benchmark models in industrial relations and guidelines for developing future frameworks for optimizing work climate in Europe and, by doing so, improving the quality of life and work.
