Global Governance Summer Programme

ESADE Difference

Activities

Learn through dynamic activities, debate and company visits to better understand the intricacies of current world affairs from the inside out.

Visit to the United Nations Association of Spain

To complement the knowledge acquired in class, you will have the opportunity to visit international institutions.

Dynamic Classes

The classes will be combined with dynamic activities such as debates on current-affairs topics and discussions of real-life cases. You will also participate in United Nations simulations where students will act as diplomats: you will be assigned to a country and will act as its representative at a UN session, where you will have to address some of the challenges currently facing the global community.

Discover Barcelona

By studying in Barcelona, you will be right at the heart of one of the most vibrant cities in Europe.

City + Beach + Mountains

Barcelona offers three very different environments: the wilderness of the Collserola mountains, the beaches of the Barceloneta, and the urban spaces of the city’s most romantic neighbourhoods, including the Rambles, Passeig de Gràcia, Barri Gòtic, Born and Raval.

Leisure and Culture

In Barcelona, you’ll enjoy a great variety of museums, cinemas and theatres, plus a wealth of diverse architecture. The city is also known for its nightlife: the Gràcia district, the streets around Marina, and Ciutat Vella are some of the liveliest areas.

Your University Campus

A campus equipped with the latest technology

ESADE’s Barcelona-Pedralbes campus is surrounded by parks and gardens in one of Barcelona’s most exclusive and serene neighbourhoods. ESADE Law School has a mock courtroom and one of the world’s most impressive legal libraries. Just 15 minutes from the city centre, the campus is very close to the Diagonal (one of Barcelona’s main shopping boulevards) and Sarrià (a neighbourhood with a small-town feel).

Do you know where you’ll be staying for those three weeks?

Sarrià University Hall of Residence: world-class accommodation

The Sarrià University Hall of Residence is located very close to ESADE’s Barcelona-Pedralbes campus. Designed specifically for students, this new building features various spaces for work and study, as well as a computer room. If you need to unwind, you can stroll through the gardens or visit the pool and sunroom on the top floor. Residents also enjoy free access to Can Caralleu, a sports centre located across the street.
