The global higher education consulting firm Eduniversal has published the results of its 2019 Best Masters Ranking, which places several of ESADE’s graduate courses among the world’s top programmes. Specifically, in the area of Executive Education, Eduniversal highlighted the excellence of ESADE’s Executive Master in Public Administration, ranking it #1 in Europe, and the Executive MBA and Executive Master in Finance, ranking both programmes #4 in Europe in their respective categories.

David Dinwoodie, Director of Executive Education at ESADE, commented: “This result shows that, in addition to prestige and academic excellence, educational experience plays a key role in how professionals choose a programme and an academic institution. Our programmes are among the best in the world, thanks to our efforts through Student First – an innovative, transformative teaching model unlike any other in the world of university education and management training. In this model, participants have a unique educational experience characterised by a combination of academic and professional training that conveys knowledge as well as applied skills.”

World leaders in tax consultancy and management and business analytics

In the field of law, the Eduniversal 2019 Best Masters Ranking recognised ESADE Law School’s Master in Tax Consultancy and Management as the #1 programme worldwide and the Master in ICT Law, Social Networks and Intellectual Property as #3 worldwide. In addition, the Master in International Business Law was ranked #1 in Europe in its category.

ESADE Business School’s Masters of Science (MSc) in Management also received top marks in the Eduniversal ranking. Specifically, the MSc in Business Analytics and the MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship were ranked #1 and #3 in the world, respectively. ESADE’s MSc in International Management and MSc in Marketing Management were also ranked among the top programmes in Europe.

Reputation and recognition of the educational experience

Eduniversal develops its annual Best Masters Ranking on the basis of three variables: student salary, student satisfaction and business school reputation. The first variable measures the changes in participants’ salaries on completion of the programme. The second variable reflects students’ assessment of the educational experience (an area in which ESADE was also recently recognised by Bloomberg Business Week).

For the third variable, institutional reputation, Eduniversal used the results of a survey of more than a thousand business school deans all over the world. In this survey, ESADE obtained a recommendation rate of over 70% – the highest score of any Spanish business school and one of the top scores anywhere in the world.
