ESADE firmly believes in the power of alliances and the creation of shared value to help to develop and improve society. To this end, the Institute for Social Innovation works closely with other institutions to strengthen different types of organisations and their efforts to address the social and environmental challenges our society faces.
Institute for Social Innovation strategic partners
Within the framework of PwC’s aim to generate trust in society and overcome key challenges, Fundación PwC’s objective is to contribute to education and employment as well as support the third sector. It pursues these aims through various programmes in which its professionals contribute their expertise and social commitment in collaboration with other relevant social players.
The foundation works with the ESADE Institute for Social Innovation through the ESADE-PwC Social Leadership Programme, a joint initiative launched during the 2008-2009 academic year to generate and transfer knowledge regarding leadership in NGOs and other not-for-profits.
The mission of the Fundación Caja de Ingenieros belonging to the savings bank of the same name is to provide sustainable value to professional communities and contribute to its members’ and society’s social, economic and cultural development based on relations founded on ethics, commitment and trust. To this end, Caja de Ingenieros channels its CSR activities by dedicating resources to promote and foment initiatives which are of cultural, social, environmental, philanthropic/relief-based, educational, scientific, professional and technological interest.
Included amongst its initiatives are specific actions to promote research as well as environmental protection and sustainability. It is within this framework that Fundación Caja de Ingenieros has collaborated with the ESADE Institute for Social Innovation since the 2016-2017 academic year and the series of reports focused on the transition to a low-carbon economy.
“Corporate Social Responsibility and people are the essential components of our company’s culture and values. Collaborating with an organisation such as ESADE in this field reaffirms our resolve to continue down this same path.”
