The commitment reached in July by the European Commission is the most ambitious aid package in recent history<\/strong>. For Spain, in the next five years, investments could exceed 3% of GDP annually.<\/p>\n

European funds are a unique opportunity for Spain, but also a colossal administrative challenge. Recent experience in the implementation of European funds shows that we are ill-prepared to absorb this aid. In the last multiannual financial framework we managed to certify – by December 2019 – around a third of the available funds, and now the aid is going to be multiplied by four.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
