These new skills are the foundation of the mindset needed to <strong>be an active asset of change<\/strong>, not just to survive it.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resilience: The Backbone of the New <strong>Soft Skills for Leaders<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The World Economic <a href=\"https:\/\/reports.weforum.org\/docs\/WEF_Future_of_Jobs_Report_2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Forum\u2019s Future of Jobs 2025<\/strong><\/a> report anticipates that <strong>more than 40 % of current skills will be transformed over the next five years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The jobs of the future will require a unique combination of technical capabilities and human competencies, with a growing emphasis on <em>soft skills<\/em>, especially in leadership positions. Among these, resilience, flexibility and agility rank in the top five of skills most valued by companies worldwide. The reason: Disruptions, new hybrid environments, and <em>multiple crises <\/em>require professionals who can maintain <strong>stability and decision-making capacity<\/strong> in uncertain contexts.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Being resilient doesn&#8217;t mean <em>enduring<\/em> or <em>resisting<\/em>. It means learning from change, interpreting difficulty, and turning it into a source of growth. It means not being afraid of mistakes but seeing the potential they can bring. It means transforming and being transformed for a new context. That&#8217;s why it&#8217;s considered an <strong>active skill<\/strong>: It involves self-awareness, a continuous learning mindset, openness to change, and emotional management.    <\/p>\n\n<p>In organizations, resilient leadership translates into cultures that learn from <strong>trial and error<\/strong>, <strong>value curiosity<\/strong>, <strong>and encourage experimentation<\/strong> as paths to learning and adaptation, as well as innovation. These are three pillars of <strong>conscientious leadership<\/strong> that the most innovative companies are already prioritizing. <\/p>\n\n<p>In terms of <strong><em>workforce adaptability<\/em><\/strong>, resilient teams that are willing to experiment show <strong>more sustained performance<\/strong> in high-pressure environments \u2014 with a higher percentage <strong>return<\/strong>. This is reflected in many studies and reports, such as those conducted in the wake of the Covid pandemic.
