ESADE, together with BDO, an auditing and professional services firm, awarded the ESADE-BDO Prize for Business Creation at Ramon Llull University. This prize is awarded to the top business plans developed by those final-year MBA students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship course.

Offset Options was awarded the 16th edition of this prize. This company promotes the reduction of carbon emissions by helping companies invest in carbon credits. If the possibility to reduce emissions in one area is limited by economic or technological restrictions, Offset Options provides a means to invest those carbon credits and reduce emissions elsewhere. The award was given to the MBA team of Olaf Petzschmann, Luke Miller, Steve Green, Irina Kostina and Tilde Frostholm.
Three finalists were also considered for this award: Inaaya Power by Manish Tiwari, Vikal Kapoor and Rishabh Dalal, awarded 2nd Prize; Training Leisure Centre (TLC) by Marta González, Mara Ribas, Angelika Pipal and David Figueras; and eFactur@Solutions by Ainoa Barajas and Àngel Pallarés.
