Executives in Residence program

Building bridges between the classroom experience and the business world

The ESADE Executives in Residence program aims at bridging the gap between theory and practice in the classroom.

The program, launched by the ESADE’s Deanship of Faculty and Research, is bringing successful senior business leaders to share their practical experience and business world knowledge with ESADE participants.

Participants in ESADE programs will benefit from practitioners’ deep understanding of the business world by learning first-hand about the necessary skills and practical advice required to succeed in their professional careers.

Appointed by the ESADE’s Deanship of Faculty and Research, senior executives taking part in the Executives in Residence program offer students a unique opportunity to acquire a solid business-world perspective that will enable them to tackle real business needs in their organizations.

Executives in Residence will benefit students from all ESADE programs, improve placement opportunities for students, and build ties between participants and ESADE Alumni.

Business leaders taking part in the Executives in Residence program will also provide advice and guidance to students and help them with their prospective career choices. Senior executives in the program will also work hand in hand with ESADE faculty on research-related activities and initiatives that connect the academic and business worlds.

Current business leaders taking part in the Executives in Residence program include Jorge Calvo, former President & CEO of Roland DG EMEA, and Isabel Aguilera Navarro, former CEO of Google Spain and Portugal, who was rated by Fortune magazine as one of the "Top 50 Most Influential Executives in the World."
