The ESADE Knowledge portal has kicked off 2012 by making more than 2,000 scientific publications by ESADE experts in the fields of management and law available to the general public.
The new website, launched last December, puts at society’s disposal the latest scientific achievements of ESADE’s researchers and teachers in various fields of knowledge, including management, marketing, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, operations, law and globalisation.
The more than 2,000 scientific documents published on the portal include academic articles, books, case studies, monographs, working papers and conference proceedings, as well as theses and academic contributions from ESADE’s PhD programme.
The platform also features a customisable private area where users have free access to exclusive content, such as “Sector Tips", that offer unbeatable information sources – economic reports, market research, rankings, statistics, indicators, associations, organisations and websites – from key sectors such as banking and finance, energy and sustainability, ICTs, innovation, the life sciences, retail, the third sector and venture capital.
ESADE Knowledge is intended to help develop and facilitate access to knowledge generated by ESADE faculty and researchers, and to become a point of reference for academics, researchers, students, lawyers and managers, as well as for society in general.
ESADE Business & Law School has 20 research units dedicated to developing and disseminating knowledge in areas that are relevant to the business world, the public sector, the world of law and civil society, in collaboration with organisations and key individuals in each area. Over the past four years, ESADE’s research activity has risen sharply, causing the institution’s scientific output to double in the same period. A substantial part of ESADE’s activity is dedicated to research. This is a reflection of the institution’s mission to play a major role in society by promoting and contributing actively to the most challenging scientific and social debates of our time.
