ESADE Business School has incorporated an IBM-developed virtual simulation game into its Executive Education and MBA programmes in order to foster management skills and competencies.

The result of close ties between ESADE and IBM over the past two years, the initiative will allow students to make decisions in real time and work as a team to reach business objectives.

The Innov8 game helps train students how to respond quickly and intuitively to changes which arise in business processes and market demands by applying BPM (Business Process Modelling) and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) technology. According to Joan Ramón Mallart, IBM Global Business Services consultant and ESADE University Relations Ambassador, "the virtual simulator recreates business scenarios which students will encounter in tomorrow's companies, characterised by collaborative and distributed environments".
