THE PRIVATE LIFE
The speaker will trace the genealogy of the idea of “private life" up to today’s concept of it. “Private life" grew out of the existence of a private estate formed by certain low influence events and which conincides historically with the development of a State that assumes, as an institution, the monopoly of legitimate violence on the exteriority of life Javier Gomá will discuss the current situation by formulating a critique of it.
