The ESADE Alumni Professional Careers Service cordially invites you to this workshop, which will discuss how to use our networking skills.
"On an equal footing, people prefer to deal with people they know. Even when conditions aren't exactly the same, people still prefer to deal with people they know. The moral? You don't need more techniques and strategies, you need more contacts". Jeffrey Gitomer, American conference speaker and author of The Little Black Book of Connections.
That's the way it is. Approximately 75% of business contracts are signed between people who knew each other beforehand and over 80% of job offers stay in the so-called “hidden market¿ and are covered without ever being published. Having a personal networking plan is a tool as important as or even more important than a good CV or a good product.
At this session you will learn the keys points of how to make and keep professional contacts and you will take part in a speed networking session, where you'll be able to chat with people who may help develop your professional goals.
The session will be led by the ESADE Alumni Professional Careers Service.
We recommend that you bring your business cards with the aim of offering them before, during and after the speed networking activity.
