TheCol·legi Oficial de Metges de Barcelona, ESADE BAN, Barcelona Activa and Biocat are together organising the 6th Healthcare Investment Forum, Barcelona 2012, to take place on February 16th 2012 in the Barcelona Physicians’ Association auditorium.
The Healthcare Investment Forum Barcelona 2012 is the ideal meeting point for companies with biotechnology projects, medical teams, health services and information technologies related to the health industry, and investors interested in this sector.
Companies of any type are invited to present projects, not just firms belonging to members of the Physicians’ Association or firms associated with sponsors.

Dates and procedure Projects must be submitted no later than February 2nd 2012.
Projects must be submitted using the official on-line form approved by the organisers as follows:
1. Register the project and enter the details requested in the form here.
Please enter all the requested information precisely and succinctly. The one-page outline generated from this information (project outline) is what matters most for catching the interest of ESADE BAN investors.
In your project profile, "Your Private Site", you must complete all the following:
1. Company profile
2. Business Summary
3. Financial Information (5-year financial outlook)
4. Pitch (attach 10-minute .ppt or .pdf presentation about the project)
5. Documents (attach CV of the team promoting the project, plus the ESADE BAN participation conditions duly signed, and any further documents deemed necessary).
6. Supplemented material
These 6 sections must be completed in full to enable us to study your proposal, and, if applicable, approve the project for the Investment Forum. The information may be submitted in Spanish.
Participating in the Investment Forum means that you accept the participation conditions shown here. (Download the conditions, sign the two pages and include them as attachments in the online platform).
2. The four organising entities will appoint a project selection panel consisting of members of said entities and experts from the healthcare and private investment sectors.
The selection committee will meet on February 9th to select (by voting if necessary) the eight or ten best projects from those submitted as specified.
3. The Healthcare Investment Forum Barcelona 2012 will take place on February 16th 2012 at 16.00 in the auditorium of the Col·legi Oficial de Metges de Barcelona, and will feature the presentation of the eight or ten projects chosen by the selection panel.
How to take part The Healthcare Investment Forum Barcelona 2012 is intended for companies in the healthcare sector: biotechnology, medical teams, health services and health-oriented information technologies.
The companies chosen to present their projects at the Investment Forum will not have to pay any type of fees for giving a presentation or, if applicable, for securing new investment.
Contact between investors and companies Designated areas will be available throughout the Investment Forum where participating companies and interested investors can make initial contact.
