WHAT IS ALIARS-E NETWORK?

It is an informal network, made up of ESADE faculty and PAS, who volunteer their time to promote and support SR-E, the care of the environment, and to improve sustainability within the institution.

WHO CAN JOIN THE ALIARS-E NETWORK?

Anyone in the ESADE community (Faculty and PAS) who is interested and willing to do so can join the network. The objective is to drive forward significant change in awareness and behavior in order to promote the adoption of increasingly sustainable and socially responsible habits and initiatives.

WHAT DOES ALIARS-E INVOLVE?

• Being interested in ESADE, in its social responsibility, environment and sustainability.

• Knowing what we do in SR­‐E and informing people about it.

• Actively promoting best practices.

• Participating actively in some of the SR­‐E Master Plan projects.

• Contributing at least one idea or suggestion each year.

• Receiving monthly information via the AliaRS‐E News.

• Participating in the two AliaRS‐E forum that are held every year.

• Participating in the biannual RS-E survey for continuous improvement.

• Setting examples of respect for the environment through your own behavior.

How? 

By switching off your computer when you leave your desk.

By switching off the lights in the office, classrooms and bathrooms when you leave.

By avoiding as far as possible the use of any disposable material (plastic coffee cups in particular).

By avoiding asking for more food that you can eat in order to avoid waste.

By eliminating the consumption of plastic bottles.

By only printing documents when absolutely necessary.

By using paper recycling containers properly.

By encouraging colleagues to adopt these best practices.
