ESADE promotes initiatives which improve society in a variety of ways:

The Social Innovation Institute
ESADE created this institution to unify and lead through:
- the training, research and circulation of information related to social responsibility and business ethics
- topics related to leadership and management of non-governmental organizations
- collaboration between business and the non-profit sector. Ignasi Carreras, ESADE professor and former director of Intermon Oxfam is the director of this new research center, hailed as the only one of its kind in Europe.

University Service for Development (SUD)
With the participation of ESADE students, professors and support staff, ESADE's University Service for Development carries out projects in developing Latin America countries, including Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador and Bolivia.

Reprieve Foundation
ESADE has collaborated with this foundation since 2003. Here ESADE law students can complete internships assisting in the judicial defence of death row prisoners in Houston, Texas.
