  • 1958 ESADE is founded

    1959 Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies is created

    1960 Executive programmes are created at the Centre for Executive Development (now known as Executive Education)

    1964 MBA programme is created

    1965 Language School is created (now known as the Executive Language Center)

    1969 Spain's first European Documentation Centre is created

    1988 ESADE becomes a full member of the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS)

    1993 ESADE Law School is created

    1995 ESADE becomes part of Ramon Llull University

    2003 Madrid campus facilities are expanded

    2003 Buenos Aires campus opens

    2008 50th anniversary of ESADE

    2008/2009 ESADE's new CREAPOLIS campus opens

  • In 1957, a group of Catalan entrepreneurs began talks with the Society of Jesus about opening a university dedicated to training business managers. This alliance resulted in the creation of ESADE Management School in October 1958.
