On 17th October 1958 - fifty years ago now - a group of entrepreneurs met in Barcelona to formally set up a university dedicated to executive training. This institution was named ESADE, the Spanish acronym equivalent to Superior School of Business Management and Administration.
Throughout these fifty years, that future vision has transformed into a university which is widely-recognised across the globe, both for its Business and Law Schools, with campuses in Barcelona, Madrid and Buenos Aires. ESADE has a network of 38,000 alumni occupying positions of responsibility in companies from almost 100 countries around the world.
"Inspiring futures" was the slogan selected to commemorate these first fifty years. For all those who wish to be major figures of the future, ESADE fully engages the challenge to continue as the benchmark institution that it has become.
