  • Aim

  • The goal is to promote the definition, revision and update of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIQ) for ESADE’s academic activities and support those involved in executing the processes and procedures in this area. It also includes preparing reports for external quality bodies (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB, AQU, ANECA, etc.).

    SGIQ represents a set of structured procedures designed in line with the Quality Policy defined by ESADE, Universitat Ramon Llull (URL), and the standards set by both external national and international accrediting organisms.


  • Main projects and activities for this academic year

    · AUDIT, definition and implementation of the SGIQ Manual at ESADE, a project promoted by the Catalan University System Quality Agency (AQU). This project articulates and integrates all of ESADE’s Academic Quality Assurance procedures and activities.

    · DOCENTIA, an evaluation of URL faculty teaching, carried out by AQU.

    · Drafting of the protocol amending the official title of Master of Business Administration (MBA) within the VERIFICA Programme run by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).

    · Support for faculty members to prepare the documents required for their AQU evaluation.

    · Preparation of faculty self-evaluations for the AACSB accreditation.

    · ESADE representative on URL’s Commission on Quality.

    · Member of the URL Technical Committee on Monitoring and Quality Assessment (COTSAQ).
