Jordi Montaña, Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and MBA (ESADE). He is Full Professor in ESADE, Universidad Ramon Llull, and teaches Marketing, Innovation Management and Design Management. He has also taught extensively as a guest lecturer at schools such as l'Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (Groupe HEC) in Paris; the Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), University of Manchester; the Wissenschaftliche Hochschule für Unternehmensführung in Koblenz; Art Center (Europe) College of Design (Switzerland) and Copenhaguen Business School.  He has published several books on marketing and design as well as numerous articles and essays, and is a member of the editorial board of some newspapers and magazines. He has served as session chairman at major seminars and national and international marketing and design congresses. He has combined teaching with consulting on marketing and design management for public and private national and international companies and institutions, among them the Nicaraguan Ministry of Industry, the Venezuelan Ministry of Public Works and Economy, UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization), the Inter-American Development Bank and companies like Sony, Manpower, Simon, HP, Novartis.
