ESADE's Institute for Labour Studies (IEL) analysis the Labour Market and the Relations between those taking part in it. The IEL's research helps forge a competitive employment model based on skills, quality of life in the workplace, and sustainable growth.
IEL is the oldest research institute at ESADE. It was set up in the 1960s by Father Juan Garcia-Nieto as a centre collaborating with the International Labour Organization (ILO). Over the years, the IEL has upheld its foundational commitment to modernity, scientific rigour, respect for others and a universal vocation.
