Efficiently managing conflicts has become a universal concern and plays an essential role in our society. The growing number and complexity of disputes and conflicts makes developing a more efficient and competitive access to justice increasingly urgent. This means incorporating alternative mechanisms such as negotiations, mediation, and arbitration into the everyday reality of our organizations, institutions, and companies. Conflict management can be understood as the management of any organizational friction (which need not be a dispute) arising from a gap between expectations about what is perceived as appropriate behavior by an organization and its everyday activity. Conflict management is a new area of research with the potential to continue growing internationally in the years ahead.

We must improve access to justice and work for an inclusive society, in line with the latest trends in the European Union and the needs of a globalized world.

The group's mission is to support one of the sustainable development goals in the UN 2030 agenda: promote peaceful and inclusive societies that can develop sustainably, facilitate universal access to justice, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels (SDG No. 16).
