About FWC

Almost everybody agrees that the design and nature of work in 2025 will be very different from the work we know today. Nonetheless, there is only limited credible research that can help us understand 1) the global forces that shape the way we will be working in the future, and 2) the ways in which we can prepare the workforce to achieve sustainable excellence in the future.

The FWC vision is to dedicate its activities to understand the Future of Work. We are employing various methodologies (some very innovative), and incorporating ideas from multiple stakeholders (academic and talented corporate executives), across disciplines and across geographical frontiers. We are using the latest virtual technologies to reunite global talent for debates, ideas, research and launching other innovations connected with the future of work.

Using a unique platform (i.e. this Chair) provided by ESADE, we aim to:

  • Translate future trends in the world of work into core research, teaching and executive education activities (In collaboration with other ESADE units as well as in alliances with other global entities)

  • Help organizations transform their culture to support the new trends at work via the development of tools and methodologies to affect culture transformation

  • Collaborate towards the development of new ideas for enhancing productivity and wellbeing in the new world of work (via research, debates, Talent Laboratory Forum, and other initiatives)

  • Create a global network/consortium with global business leaders, academics and political leaders
