The ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute and the ESADE Alumni Business Angels Club have launched a new series of meetings called, Last Thursday. Their aim is to encourage networking opportunities between entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, others involved in entrepreneurial efforts, faculty, business plan sponsors and students. Last Thursday will be the ideal platform in which to exchange ideas, share experiences and foment new business opportunities, all over an informal drink.

Luke will outline some of the pros and cons of being a Spanish startup and building a client base across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Offset Options is one of the first Spanish companies to join the Seedcamp portfolio in London and now has provided millions of environmental data points for its partners in Travel, Events and Logistics. Prior to founding Offset Options, Luke worked for Tesco and the Royal Bank of Scotland in the UK, and for United Nations projects in Mongolia.

Mr. Margenat also discussed the company's financing, its rapid growth process, the reasons for its subsequent sale, and the creation of a new brand: Plan B! Smartbox and PlanB! are the two leading brands in the sector. |
