The Esade Entrepreneurship Institute
The Esade Entrepreneurship Institute (EEI) is a research institute dedicated to academic excellence in the field of entrepreneurship and related disciplines through research, teaching, new venture ideation, and creation and outreach activities.
Our mission is to support Esade’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and facilitate the research activities of our members by raising resources, organizing knowledge sharing activities, and disseminating scientific knowledge.
EEI members and researchers
The EEI has been accredited by the local government as a consolidated research group since 2017 (Grup de Recerca en Iniciativa Emprenedora).
Our members conduct research in diverse topics such as new venture creation, corporate and technology strategy, entrepreneurial finance, scaling-up, organizational theory, and family business. We aim to impact the next generation of managers through by teaching at undergraduate, master’s, MBA, Executive, and PhD levels.

The Global Business Family Initiative
The GBFI addresses research and knwoledge sharing in three main areas that affect business families: Performance, Purpose and Happiness.
ScaleUp & Growth Strategy Center
This center focuses on key academic and practitioner-oriented research on the growth and internationalization of businesses through teaching, research and collaborations, and outreach.
