És professor visitant de l'escola d'administració d'empreses HEC París. Fou professor ajudant a la Universitat de Versailles St.-Quentin-en-Yvelines (1998-2002), de la qual actualment és professor visitant.
Ha realitzat treballs de consultoria i recerca-acció sobre la innovació de processos i la qualitat en diverses empreses a França i a Espanya. Va ser training manager de l'operador turístic Sunworld a Anglaterra (1993) i auditor de Cortés y Cía a Barcelona (1991-1992).
És autor d'un estudi sobre les normes mediambientals ISO 14000 per a Toshiba a Kawasaki, Japó (1996), i ha fet pràctiques a l'empresa Environment Commerce a Praga, República Txeca (1994) i al Gabinet Tècnic de Programació de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona (1990).
