Banco Sabadell and Fundació ESADE have recently signed an agreement under which the bank will make an annual donation to Fundació ESADE over the coming four years. Aimed at promoting research projects in the fields of economics and finance, Banco Sabadell will now become a promoter of GREF under the auspices of the Research Support Programme.
Thanks to this agreement, GREF will have funds to promote and disseminate economics and finance projects as well as research initiatives. Banco Sabadell’s donation will also finance part of the production costs of the Economic Report, drawn up by ESADE faculty from the Department of Economics. Additionally, a portion of these funds will be set aside to fund research and teaching each year, in order to expand research activities and encourage the recruitment of new faculty.
A meeting room at the ESADE Campus in Sant Cugat del Vallès will be named in honour of Banco Sabadell, in recognition of the bank’s support.
