As of February 2009, all academic activities will be carried out at the new facilities, which have been inspired by science parks created by other universities (i.e. St. John's Innovation Centre in Cambridge).
The new campus has involved the construction of 19,800 m2 for academic use and another 26,800 m2 to house businesses. A total of 46,600 m2 of cutting-edge facilities will incorporate the latest advances in pedagogical innovation.
