With the Esade Bachelor in Law program you’ll discover professional reality while you’re a student. The curriculum includes compulsory professional internships and voluntary solidarity-based internships in development projects in Latin America. Both represent unique experiences which will provide added value to both your education and your CV.

Your first professional experience in top-notch law firms and companies
During the third year, you’ll have to dedicate 100 hours to complete a compulsory professional internship in:
- Prestigious Spanish and international law firms and companies
- Or in Spanish embassies and consulates or international organisations abroad.
During your internship, you’ll be guided by an Esade Bachelor in Law academic tutor and a professional tutor in the law firm or company where you carry out your internship. They will guide you and monitor your learning and progress, the aim being to ensure that you make the most of this unique experience.

Solidarity-based internships in Latin America
Transform the reality of those who need it the most
During the summer of your third year, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in real, solidarity-based development projects, working in countries such as Bolivia, Guatemala, Nicaragua or Costa Rica through the Esade University Development Service (SUD).
This program combines practical education and social commitment. An added benefit and motivator is that your collaboration truly has an impact and helps to improve the reality of poor and at-risk communities.
What type of projects do they include?
From defending indigenous women against domestic violence in Guatemala to advising and gathering evidence in children’s and juvenile courts in Guatemala or guiding and providing legal advice to refugees and migrants in Costa Rica in collaboration with the UN Refugee Agency (or UNHCR). No matter the project, this experience is 100% recommended for your professional and, especially, your personal growth.
