Biography
José M. Álvarez de Lara is Director of the ESADE Centre for Culture Industries (CEIC) and of the ESADE Executive Education programme on Management Control.
He has worked for Monsanto Chemical (United States, Belgium, France, Spain) as an Engineer, CPC Corn Products Corporation - Best Foods (United States, Spain) as Financial Director and for Masson - Vivendi (Spain, United States, Latin America) in the position of Chief Executive.
He is Visiting Professor of Management Control and Culture Industries at the HEC.
He is the author of articles on subjects related to plastics chemistry, industrial management, the creation of intellectual value and the sectors related to the culture industries.
Since 1984, he has been an Assistant and Lecturer in ESADE's Department of Financial Management and Control.
