    Biography

    Jan is a visiting Professor at ESADE Business School and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). He received a PhD from ESADE Business School and, was previously a visiting scholar at the Wharton School of Business and Georgetown University.

    Jan teaches in the areas of strategy, marketing and innovation. Programs in which he thought include the full time MBA at UTS, ESADE and Georgetown, the ESADE-Georgetown Global Executive MBA (GEMBA), the Executive MBA at Georgetown (EMBA), the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (UTS) and various executive trainings (e.g, DeBaak, KPMG, SK Group, RioTinto, Bayer).

    Jan's research focuses on strategy and innovation topics, with a focus on knowledge acquisition, alliances and informal collaborations in high technology industries. He has published in leading innovation journals such as Research Policy, Industrial & Corporate Change, Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of Product Innovation Management as well as in scholarly books.
