Biography
Since joining ESADE, at the beginning of the seventies, Professor Lamolla has been responsible for various management spheres.
He was Director of the Department of Business Policy on two occasions. He has also managed the second cycle of the Undergraduate Management programme, where he introduced the credits system, the majors and the undergraduate dissertation, and he created the International Management Programme (IMP).
He has also run the MBA programmes, and he created their full-time version and the current Professional Masters. More recently, he supervised the development of the In-Company Training and Institutional Consultancy areas.
He has likewise been in charge of ESADE's relations with the countries of Latin America. He has run programmes and taught courses in almost all the countries of Latin America and has represented ESADE on the Latin American Council of Management Schools (CLADEA).
In his capacity as Director of ESADEMPRESA and Special Projects, he has also run training projects in Eastern Europe and the Maghreb. He has formed part of ESADE's Management Committee and Executive Board in different periods.
Professor Lamolla has always combined his teaching activity with management tasks in private companies. He has held senior management positions in companies from very different sectors (electric material, chipboard, construction, plastics, etc.) and he is a member of the boards of directors or of the management committees of several companies.
