Biography
His professional experience has focused on Marketing, and he spent six years working in the marketing departments of multinational consumer goods producers.
In 1996, he founded the consultancy firm Salvetti & Llombart, which specialises in consumer intelligence. Salvetti & Llombart has offices in Madrid and Barcelona, and provides business research services to major European firms and corporations. He currently serves on the firm¿s Board of Management.
As Academic Assistant, he has been delivering classes in Marketing and Brand Management at ESADE since 1992.
He has written numerous business books and novels. English translations of his business-related publications include Lateral Marketing (co-authored with Philip Kotler), Good Luck (co-authored with Alex Rovira), The Time Seller, The Black Book of Entrepreneurship and, in Spanish, El hombre que cambió su casa por un tulipán.
In fiction, he has published a collection of short stories entitled Absurd Stories, in addition to Palabras bajo el mar, El coleccionista de sonidos and La historia que me escribe.
He is a regular contributor to the economic supplement of La Vanguardia (in the Dinero section) and El País Semanal.
