Biography
Calin has focused his work on growth theory and public economics, with an emphasis on multi-region economy dynamics and the effects of fiscal policies.
Part of his research examines the role coordination and competition play at the public policy level in integrated economies. Other lines of research focus on understanding the growth effects of regional redistribution policies such as the EU cohesion policy and analyzing the effects of trade and knowledge spillovers on the spatial correlation of regional productivity.
