Ginès Fabrellas, Anna

Anna Ginès i Fabrellas is Associate Professor of Law Law and director of Esade's Labor Studies Institute.She has focused her research on the impact of technology in the workplace. She has led the LABORAlgorithm project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and has multiple publications regarding the legal treatment of algorithmic management and its impact on workers’ fundamental rights, such as the book Artificial Intelligence, algorithms and labor relation published by Thomson Reuters Aranzadi in 2023.She has also analyzed the phenomenon of platform work, which led to the publication of the book 'Platform work. New forms of precarious work' published by Thomson Reuters Aranzadi in 2021.She has been the Project Coordinator of the Horizon 2020 project EQUAL4EUROPE funded by the European Commission, with the aim of developing gender equality standards for research institutions.Among transfer activities, she is a member of the Advisory Group of Experts of the Spanish Ministry of Labor on the use of algorithms in the workplace and participated in the elaboration of the “Practical guide and tool on employers’ obligation to provide information on the use of algorithms in the labor relation” published by the Spanish Ministry of Labor.
