Biography
Throughout her career as trainer and consultant she has focused on leadership development and executive coaching, and has specialised in emotional intelligence competency development, learning styles, and psychometric testing and its application to personal development nationally and internationally.
Since 2000 she has consulted and acted as executive coach in a variety of business sectors, including the media, retail, technology, finance, culture, medical, and the pharmaceutical sector.
She is a licensed, certified professional in several personality instruments, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Work-Place Big Five Inventory, the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory, the Neo-PI-R and the Strong Interest Inventory.
She is currently involved in two research projects as principal researcher with the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia (MEC) and the Survey Research Center (SRC) at ESADE. The Center was set up in 2006 to conduct research in social sciences and survey methodology in particular.
She is a PhD candidate in Personality Psychology at Universitat Ramon Llull. Her Doctoral research investigates leadership potential in the corporate environment and its link to personal values, emotional intelligence and cognitive styles/learning styles.
She has been an Academic Assistant at ESADE since 1992 where she has delivered courses in Negotiation, Team Building, and Leadership Development. She is currently an associate lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Management where she divides her activities between lecturing, managing and research. Her current management activity involves co-management of the LEAD Programme at ESADE, which is intended to integrate the development of emotional intelligence competencies into leadership training and to carry out research in the area of learning, emotional intelligence and personal values.
