Biography
In addition to forming part of ESADE's Faculty, he is one of the founding partners of Family Business Knowledge (FBK), an applied research company in the field of the family business. FBK develops both management tools for the family business and studies on groups of family businesses. He likewise acts as consultant to business families.
On completing his degree, he created his own company (Tecnologías del Medio Ambiente, SL). He has also been General Manager of United Port Services, SA, and of Productos Frit Ravich, SL.
He is the co-author of a theoretical model (the structural risk model), used both by business families and by consultants and consultancy companies specialized in this field, in various countries of the world.
His research is focused on the application of the theory of complexity to family business management, with the aim of creating analytical models of this management.
