Managing by Values (MbV):

Taking your organization into the 21st Century with confidence

MbVTM is an innovative, thorough, systematic and integrated approach to managing individual and organizational changes and aligning the latter with the organization's objectives. The philosophy blends and challenges personal leadership and organizational theories of change.

It offers senior managers a strategic tool to do a complete evaluation for their organization. Similarly, it offers revealing ideas to individuals about their own personal success and how they fit into their respective organizational culture.

It's a new blueprint for creating a learning organization in which personal and organizational performance mutually reinforce each other. MbVTM offers a solution to the never ending challenge of aligning individual values, motivation and behavio with steady performance and sustainable aspirations.

  • Presidents, General Managers and CEOs or Senior Managers of firms in any sector.
  • Project Managers, Senior HR Managers and those who deal with corporate strategy.
  • Consultants, internal or external.

What if you could give your organization the gift of a magnificent and promising future while keeping its stakeholders satisfied in the process?

To do so means implementing a new and broader approach that builds on the foundation of an effective organization. Winning companies must first emphasize values over finnacial results. These values are the beliefs, attitudes and feelings that top management has about employees, customers, quality, ethics, integrity, social responsibility, growth, stability, innovation and flexibility.

The system of beliefs and values that shaped the model for the early 20th century management, is not good enough today to keep a business functioning and competing successfully in markets that are increasingly more global, complex, professionally demanding, constantly changing and oriented towards quality and customer satisfaction. The old model, clearly based on the hierarchical control of employees under conditions of external and internal stability, must evolve to take into account a new way of thinking while working towards a "new culture" of "top down" monitoring, with the leaders' strategic decision to develop the personal and professional potential of each of the members of the organization. Managing by values, not profits, is a powerful process that will set your organization onto the path of becoming a sustainable winner in the 21st century.

This one day seminar is based on the best selling book "Managing by Values: Corporate guide to living, being alive and making a living in the 21st century", authored by Prof. Simon L. Dolan and his colleagues.

According to the "Conference Board", this author has created a new framework for managing and changing organizations in the 21st century. MbVTM begins by performing an individual and organizational value audit. It then introduces the participant to an innovative model of organization.

The methodology includes individual and organizational diagnosis for change while assessing the strategies for change management. The methodology focuses on reengineering the culture in an attempt to bridge and align individual values with the corporate vision along three core dimensions: Economic-Pragmatic, Ethical-Social and Emotional- Energetic. This highly interactive process creates the foundation for dynamic change. To reinforce this learning, special tools have been developed (including innovative online software). The fundamental premise underlying this creative Seminar is that when values can be identified, measured and aligned with the company's realistic mission and vision, it is possible for the ideal to become a reality.
