Finance for non-Financial Executives. Managerial Approach to Finances: Creation of Value

The program of Finances for Managers has as goals to provide the participants with the necessary tools to know how to interpret  financial information, so that they can understand that behind of every number there are processes and people, and to facilitate a financial vision, from the perspective of the general management, that allows:

  • Learn to read, interpret and analyse financial information to enhance decision-making capacity.
  • Use the appropriate tools and methodologies for carrying out a strategic business assessment based on economic and financial Information.
  • Thinking in economic and financial terms.
  • Carry out key financial forecasting and anticipate its consequences.
  • Develop the basis for a general business strategy.
  • Systematically provide an integrated view of the entire business and its environment, from the financial perspective.

General managers and other executives from non-financial backgrounds, new executives with finance-related responsibilities, and experienced professionals who wish to eliminate financial barriers and transform them into a strategic tool.

  • Financial information systems: concepts, communication and foundations of corporate financial management.
  • Diagnosis: understanding balance sheets, ratios and turnover, risk elements, asset analysis, long-term outlooks, and forecasting.
  • Financial planning: examination of the financial consequences of short and long term corporate objectives.
  • Elements of financial strategy: structure, dividend policies, and opportunity cost
  • Study of the models of growth of ZIMER and ZAKON.

Participants acquire a financial outlook from a management perspective, helping them to interpret information and improve decision-making skills. With a strong grasp of the financial aspects, executives can anticipate the consequences of economic changes and successfully confront challenges in the global economy.

Case studies, learning scenarios, and success stories are analyzed with practical application. The program delves into strategy design and implementation and development of the most competitive approach through diverse computer models.
