La situación económica ha cambiado drásticamente. La crisis económica, el entorno de incertidumbre y el difícil acceso a las fuentes de financianción plantean un panorama complicado para las empresas.

En este contexto tan adverso, las empresas deben poner en marcha procesos de planificación económica y financiera que les conduzca a una gestión más eficiente de los recursos que disponen. One of the objectives of the programme is to provide a systematic approach to the analysis of the corporate operations that enable the creation of value from a financial management point of view.

The programme also aims to provide participants with a financial overview, allowing them to analyse financial statements, make investment decisions, identify the methodologies to be used to rate companies and make decisions in relation with covering risks through financial derivatives.
 

Finance as a business language makes it possible for essential communication between different areas, functions and processes to achieve the company’s strategic objectives. Planning and decision making within a financial context help bring about a better use of resources and competitive advantages.

The programme format combines theoretical presentations, used to develop a conceptual framework on relevant issues, and case studies related to each of the topics in the syllabus.
