The programme provides the participants with the interpretative framework and the tools to deploy for sound decision making with regard to the internationalisation of a company, as well as the knowledge of the necessary operations so that internationalisation becomes successful and consolidated.
The programme has been developed so that the participants:
- Know and understand the extent of globalisation in their sector and how it affects the need to internationalise their company.
- Understand the distinct internationalisation options available to them and the need to prepare the company well, prior to going international.
- Learn how to use the tools needed to implement internationalisation in an optimal manner for the chosen modalities, and how to avoid errors that other companies have committed.
- Gain experience of monitoring an internationalisation plan and taking the appropriate measures, as well as knowing how to confront the Human Resources, Financial and Operational challenges that will be encountered.
- Undertake the Internationalisation Diagnosis of their own company to achieve the improvement of its current internationalisation process, or to successfully manage its first stages of internationalisation.
The most appropriate profile of the participant would have the following characteristics:
l
- Company owners or general managers,
- managers who work in any of the functional departments of their company that necessarily have contact with international operations,
- who work in companies of any sector that already has international operations or that is preparing its launch into international business,
