Efficiently undertaking the Role of Owner is fundamental for our businesses’ to create value. If we want our businesses to grow and establish themselves we must face the challenge of sharing this role, which is to say sharing ownership, institutionalizing it so that it becomes a merit of the team.
 
We need to understand how our governance system operates, how to lead and share the Role of Owner and what results we are reaping.

The OPG offers a set of principles, models and tools that facilitate an understanding of the efficient exercise of Shared Ownership and its impact on Value Creation.

The programme traces a process of reflection and analysis that enables a diagnosis of how your governance system functions and what are the most relevant changes needed to make it really effective.
 

  • Learn about what the Role of Owner consists of and how to share it efficiently
     
  • Understand the dynamics of the exercise of power in a Family Business.
     
  • Identify the challenges for the exercise of ownership and the multiplication of leadership in a globalised world.
     
  • Understand how to manage and improve the Generation, Multiplication and Capture of Value in a business.
     
  • Obtain a personalised Shared Leadership Diagnosis, which includes an x-ray of how its own governance system operates and the choice of major moves needed to transform it
     
  • A burst of training and experience exchange through business networking, thanks to the select group of participants.

The OPG is aimed at President-Owners of companies with a high growth potential.
This programme is designed exclusively for a President-Owner of a company that matches the following profile:
 

  • As President:
You must be the head of the company, the Ownership leader. With governance skill and full authority to orchestrate the implementation of decisions. With a profound knowledge of your business and your industry. Committed to the search for paths to Value Creation.
 
  • As Leader:
You take the attitude of the company’s founder. Committed to improvement and growth. Have a multiplying effect in the business community. Demonstrated gift as an Advisor. Open to change and questioning and keen to continue learning. Proactive with a global outlook.
 
  • As Owner:
Individual owner or partner of a family group. With the appropriate governance conditions to exercise leadership and to take the company towards its best opportunities. If governance is shared, it may be appropriate that those who share it participate together in the programme
 
  • The Company:
Businesses or business groups with high Value Creation potential, with annual sales of more than
US$ 50 million, with successful business formulae and with clear growth opportunities. Market leaders. With governance and organisation structures undergoing maturation.

The programme consists of:

  • A Shared Ownership Diagnosis in which each one of the participants accompanied by a team of the programme’s facilitators reviews their own governance system and identifies areas of substantial improvement to strengthen it.

The methodological process is aimed towards action, combining the conceptual with praxis. In this sense it integrates:
