The programme gives as much importance to the teaching methodology used as it does to the content. This is a central element in how the programme is structured.
The programme's focus is essentially on experience. Learning takes place more readily through experience than through traditional formulas to convey knowledge. Participants will analyse concrete realities, diagnose problems, contrast and debate different points of view and interact with other participants. The course is structured as intensive seminars to make this focus more plausible.
The programme dedicates more time to analyse case studies national and international, carry out simulations, teamwork and open debates than occurs in other programmes, and the professors are especially dedicated to stimulate individual and collective learning.
In terms of format, the programme also takes into account the difficulties NGO executives have in participating in training programmes as these take time away from their work. To minimize these difficulties and though the programme requires participants' to attend classes, the programme offers a lighter format which includes five intensive modules lasting three days each.
